Youth Program
The Normal Police Youth Program is a summer program designed
to strengthen relationships between today’s youth and officers of
the Normal Police Department. This one week program is intended
to build relationship, expand self-confidence, bolster self-esteem,
learn valuable team concepts, gain leadership skills, and embrace
community pride. Each day youth between the ages of 9 and 13 will
meet at the NPD. Classroom topics will focus on an officer’s
responsibilities and various functions with the department.
Youth will then participate in various activities planned around
